What I got out of it is, SQ doesn’t get attention from the actors/writers/producers of the show. What I don’t get is why you or anyone that ships SQ think SQ SHOULD get any media attention. It’s a FANON ship. An actor says they ‘care about all their fans’ and SQ’s start complaining that they get no recognition for their SHIP. That has nothing to do with fans. Everyone involved in making OUAT have confirmed numerous times that SQ is not going to happen EVER, and yet SQ’s still think they are entitled to ‘recognition’.
Please stop pretending this has anything to do with LGBT issues. You’re embarrassing yourself. Because if this really were about LGBT issues in media, you would be equally outraged at the lack of recognition other queer ships on this show gets.
When have A&E ever brought up Red Beauty? NEVER.
When did AfterEllen ever host an interview for Captain Charming? NEVER.
When did Lana ever show her support for Red Queen fans? NEVER.
Swen gets the MOST recognition out of all the queer ships on Once, and that includes the only canon queer ship they’ve written, Sleeping Warrior. You as shippers are CONSTANTLY reassured of your importance, and it’s still not enough for you. I think it goes without saying that it will NEVER be enough for some of you until Swan Queen becomes canon. But that’s very unlikely to happen, so you’re just going to keep throwing temper tantrums and disguise it as some kind of civil rights issue so the writer and cast will keep kowtowing to you so they aren’t continuously accused of homophobia. Which they STILL are.
You feel betrayed as a consumer. Okay, fine. THEN STOP WATCHING. You know what I do when the supermarket is out of bok choy? I go to another one. It’s that simple. You’re making a mountain out of a molehill with this stupid tea business. It’s fucking TEA. Jen and the writers and have every right to tweet how they feel like. They saw it and they thought it was cool. Stop clutching your pearls for two seconds and quit taking it like an insult on the queer community. Be outraged that there isn’t a solid, well-written queer couple on the show. Don’t waste your energy on fucking TEA.
As for the writer’s “ignoring” you, what makes your ship so goddamn special that they have to acknowledge you in the first place? They don’t HAVE to promote a ship that isn’t canon on the show. You think the average viewer outside of tumblr even knows what the hell Swan Queen is? They promote what they are writing on the show, which is Captain Swan, Rumbelle, Snowing, and Outlaw Queen. These are the main ships they are writing, and therefore promoting. It’s basic advertising.

Кроме того, что посылают фанатам других пейрингов лучи ненависти и даже угрозы убийств, они по отработанной США тактике каждого, не любящего СК, называют гомофобом. Меня вообще это всегда забавляло. И вообще, это всего лишь сериал. И, к тому же, не самый качественный.
К слову о фанатах СК, недовольных поведением ДженМо, которая, бедняжка, как могла, открещивалась первые два сезона от всей этой ЛГБТ-тематики. Если мне не изменяет память, она успешно уходила от вопросов со словами, что ее "моральные и религиозные убеждения не позволяют говорить на эту тему".

The point is that:
- JMO follows, favs, and RT those CS fans that are bullying SQ everyday. If she follows them she endorses their behavior and they feel encouraged to keep going.
- JMO gets tons of tweets about SQ everyday but she chooses to RT, FAV and reply to CS fans only and to CS material. (that 101smiles thing is a perfect exemple of it. Check her favs).
- JMO claims to “love all ships” and be impartial but she’s not. She’s biased and the only fact that she follows only CS fans and not SQ is already a proof of that.
- When JMO is FORCED to aknowledge SwanQueen because there’s some drama going on (as when she refused to do the AfterEllen interview) she does it like we are an annoyance (exemple: the #whycantweallgetalong tag added to her tweet, and 20 seconds after saying she supports LGTB fans she favorited these tweets:

- The silly thing she wrote “I play poker with Ellen”, and pretending she didn’t know what was going on with AfterEllen, was just a way to not-answer the “are you going to do the AfterEllen interview” question and she fooled many of us.
A “no, thank you” would have been more honest and appreciated.
So yeah, I was sad and angry today not because she favorited a stupid tweet about tea, but because that silly thing was just “the straw that broke the camel’s back” for me.
She obviously has to promote her ship, but there’s a difference between promoting her canon ship and constantly ignoring her biggest fanbase. That’s it.
I’m tagging SQ only cause I’m definitely NOT interested in having a conversation with those entitled CS brats. I saw some “why are you so mad about that stupid tweet” posts in the SQ tag and in my twitter TL and this is my reply.

Правда я не уверена, что если рейтинг упадет вдруг, они быстро сварганят СК. Вот словосочетание "быстро сварганят" меня пугает больше всего, как фемслешера. Потому что быстро, не значит качественно.

14.09.2014 в 23:50Ну, теоретически, все может быть намного проще - они реально не видят эти отношения как пейринг, а потому и не хотят их прописывать в романтическом ключе. И да, в этом плане однополый пейринг легче зарубить, чем гетный. Но в любом случае, ИМХО, когда пейринг пишется исключительно ради выгоды, а не потому, что им искренне увлечены сами креаторы, ничего хорошего из этого не выходит. Те же Х-файлы вспомнить: Картер очень долго говорил, что не будет никакого романа между Малдером и Скалли, но рейтинги упали, пришлось разыграть последнюю карту... Да, большинство фанатов остались довольны тем, что выстрадали и дождались, но, на мой взгляд, то, что выдали в последних сезонах - мыльное убожище, особенно по части столь долгожданного и быстренько сбагренного в приют малыша Билли, и в этом не было ничего от Малдера и Скалли и того, чем их отношения цепляли в ранних сезонах.

Но страх перед гомо тоже есть, у многих (законы, мать их!). Люди всегда боятся быть непонятыми и отвергнутыми, не важно кем и чем. Это психология страха.
Elika Z., разумеется ты не гомофоб, иначе ты просто бы со многими из нас не общалась. Гомофобия это как расизм - болезнь.
Мне порой кажется, что люди немного путают понятия, называя гомофобами просто несогласных. Это как церковь называют всех неверующих - атеистами. Но не все неверующие - такие.

Видишь ли, как люди мыслят: гетеро пары могут обниматься и целоваться на улицах, почему же другим нельзя. Это стереотип. Не более. Законы сами по себе права не ограничивают, они лишь ограничивают эпатаж по этому поводу. Но это я могу так считать, ты и еще пара человек. А есть другие, и считают они по-другому.
